Oh dear, oh my. Those crazy scientists at NASA are up to it again. Those huge brains, that large income of tax money, and all the equipment, chemicals, tools and mechanics they need to create such instruments of vast power and ability to explore the cosmos. But, wait, a cloud! Scrub the launch guys, nature's ball of built up precipitation just killed our dreams.
Anyway, sorry; I had to get that off. I know you want the best conditions possible for a test run, but it will always kill me that a few clouds can disrupt the best that rocket science literally has to offer. But then again, I atleast applaud them for being responsible enough to where if they don't feel they will succeed, they won't waste tax dollars on something that will probably fail. Even though apparently it's trendy to waste tax dollars on fail things such as corporate bonuses or companies that literally don't ensure the future of our nation in any shape, form or fashion.
So yesterday I spoke about a book I was reading ("Diary" by Chuck Palahniuk). Well I managed to finish that novel late last night, and if there was ever a book I could recommend every day for the rest of my life, it would be this book. Beautifully written, great storyline and excellent character development. Then again, what else would you expect from someone such as Chuck Palahniuk, author of novels such as "Fight Club", "Snuff", "Choke", and "Lullaby". The man is probably the greatest and most important author in American literature today. Next on my to-read list is Greg Bear's "City at the End of Time". It's a science fiction romp, and so far (after completing the first chapter) it has my attention. That is saying alot, trust me. As soon as the back cover closes, I'll give you a review.
Tomorrow is Game 1 of the World Series between the Yankees and the Phillies (I shouldn't have to say which city they each call home). I am a die-hard, life long Yankees fan (with a tattoo to back the claim), and half of my family lives in Queens, New York. While I feel the Yanks will win this series, it will be a close one, probably going six or seven games. The Phillies have just as much power hitting as we do, and their pitching is dominant too. We do have great starting pitching, but I believe the Yankees will get their edge when it comes to the bullpens. Plus, Mariano Rivera > Brad Lidge. Simple math you know.
Well that's all I will ramble on for today. I'll list some other sites below that you can keep up with the mess that is me. Stay on the looks for my vlog. Finally have all the equipment ready to go, just need to get a solid script and idea for it. I love my friends, but hey I love you too!
